First Meeting at North Penn Baptist Church 4.19.12

4/20/2012

I'm happy to report that the first meeting at North Penn Baptist Church was a success.  We had 7 attendees , 3 of which are NPBC family, with 2 presenters who provided us with information regarding an Alzheimer's Disease Caregivers' Roundtable discussion sponsored by the National Family Caregivers Association .  We're seeking volunteers who have experienced caring for an AD
relative or friend to participate in this program.  The particulars on date, time and location will soon follows. All members intermingled and helped each other as they told their stories and expressed concerns in their caregiving capacities.  My friend and supporter, Kathy Sutton, presented her
"Blue Suitcase Drill" which always gets everyone's attention as it details how you must know where all the important documents are kept at all times.

During our meeting we were surrounded by the beautiful music by the practicing choir in the sanctuary above us which provided an uplifting environment.  The meeting time is a blessed time period.

It is good to announce that Boomers "R Heroes now has a  monthly Mt. Airy meeting scheduled at the Lovett Memorial Library, Gtn. Avenue and Sedgewick Sts., beginning May 7 @ 6:30 pm.

Thank  you,
North Penn, for your support and encouragement.

I have been through several posts on this very subject but the satisfactory information that I found here is something that all other blogs are missing.
